Installation

  1. Download the free 30-day trial package from Lemon Squeezy.
  2. Run MIDIUM.exe for the Windows standalone app or copy MIDIUM.vst3 to your DAW's VST3 plugin folder.
  3. Rescan plugins in your DAW, then open MIDIUM as an instrument.
  4. After the trial, enter your license key to keep using MIDIUM standalone and VST3.

Known beta limitations

  • The standalone app is Windows-only for now.
  • Preset and host compatibility may change during beta.
  • The license flow is being introduced during the public beta.

How does the free trial work?

MIDIUM is free to use for 30 days. After that, enter a license key to keep using it.

What does the $10 license cover?

One purchase unlocks both the VST3 plugin and the Windows standalone app.

How do I get the notes into my project?

Drag the finished MIDI out of MIDIUM into your DAW, or export it as a MIDI file.

Will what I draw stay in key and in time?

If you want it to. Scale locking keeps the notes in the scale you choose, and quantize pulls them onto the grid.

Which music software does it work in?

Hosts that load VST3 plugins, on Windows. The standalone app is Windows-only for now.

Is it finished?

It is a public beta. Presets and host compatibility may still change.
